Man flown to hospital following ATV rollover

The LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter crew responded to reports of an ATV incident on a rural property in southwest Queensland on Saturday afternoon.

At approximately 2.30pm, they arrived at the scene where an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) had flipped, leaving a man in his 70s trapped underneath.

Working in collaboration with the Queensland Ambulance Service, the aeromedical team worked to free the man and subsequently airlifted him to Roma Hospital in a stable condition.
