Man flown to hospital following tractor incident

The Toowoomba-based LifeFlight rescue helicopter flew a man to hospital following a tractor incident in South East Queensland on Monday afternoon.

The LifeFlight team responded to a call when a tractor crashed into a tree on a private property around 4pm.

Queensland ambulance paramedics and a critical care doctor from LifeFlight provided on-scene medical assistance to a man in his 70s, who sustained minor injuries to his head and pelvis.

He was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
