WorkSafe Awards winners will be announced next month

WorkSafe will announce winners of its annual workplace health and safety awards at a ceremony scheduled to take place at the Park Hyatt Melbourne on February 27.

According to WorkSafe, a total of 21 finalists have been selected from nearly 150 nominations across six award categories for the 2024 WorkSafe Awards, which recognise efforts in occupational health and safety (OHS) as well as return-to-work initiatives. These programs form part of broader national safe work month efforts to strengthen OHS standards across industries.

Diverse Finalists Reflect Strong OHS Culture

WorkSafe CEO Joe Calafiore expressed admiration for the remarkable diversity of workplaces and individuals at this year's event.

"Our finalists come from a wide range of industries including construction, education, healthcare and more," Mr Calafiore said. "It's wonderful to see advancements in workplace health and risk management happening right across the board."
