WorkSafe Victoria Awards Winners Revealed

The 2022 WorkSafe Awards winners have been announced at an awards presentation held in Melbourne, attended by about 400 people. These awards recognise companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to improving workplace health and safety across Victoria, building on the momentum from when winners were announced for the 2021 WorkSafe Victoria awards.

Seven winners were announced across seven award categories, each highlighting outstanding safety practices within diverse industries throughout Victoria.

Record Number of Entries Received

WorkSafe Chief Executive Colin Radford said the safety regulator received 120 entries for the 2022 awards, reflecting strong engagement from organisations committed to raising health and safety standards.

"All finalists, and indeed all those who nominated, should be rightly proud of their efforts in improving workplace health and safety," Mr Radford said.

Before winners were revealed at the dinner, WorkSafe Victoria had already generated considerable interest when finalists were named for the WorkSafe Victoria awards, giving organisations across the state a preview of the calibre of entries under consideration.

Recognising Excellence in Workplace Safety

Each award category celebrates a different facet of safety leadership, from innovative risk management to outstanding contributions by individuals dedicated to protecting their colleagues.
