Winners Announced for 2021 WorkSafe Victoria Awards

Winners of the 2021 WorkSafe Victoria awards have been announced, recognising businesses, workers and health and safety representatives across the state's industry sectors.

Recipients include organisations, employees and health and safety representatives who have gone the extra mile to keep Victorians safe at work.

WorkSafe Victoria said it received more than 180 nominations, though only 23 finalists were shortlisted for these awards. Eight winners were recognised across seven categories for their outstanding commitment to safety.

This year, WorkSafe Victoria introduced two additional categories honouring efforts to improve mental health outcomes and strengthen farm safety across regional industry.

WorkSafe Chief Executive Officer Colin Radford said, "These new categories highlight the need for improvement in these areas, and we hope these success stories encourage more workplaces to think about how they can take a prevention-led approach towards health and safety."
