Worker hospitalised after chemical smell at New Zealand port

One worker was taken to hospital following reports of a chemical smell at a Tauranga port on Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at about 5.40am.

Three staff members reported feeling unwell and adjacent areas were evacuated.
