Worker dead after incident at New Zealand kiwifruit orchard

WorkSafe has launched an investigation after a man died in a work-related incident at an orchard in Bay of Plenty.

The 42-year-old man died on February 18.

The deceased man’s family is in shock following the fatal incident.

“We are devastated by the loss of our beloved son,” his family said in a statement. 

The investigation is still in its early stages.
