Woman injured at NSW underground mine

A woman was sucked into a pipe while working on an exhaust fan at an underground coal mine in NSW.

Emergency services were called to a coal mine at Mount Kembla after the incident.

The 32-year-old woman was pulled from the underground pipe by fellow workers.

She was transported to Wollongong Hospital with multiple fractures.
