Final report published after mine workers suffer serious injuries at NSW underground mine

The NSW Resources Regulator has released a final report after two workers were injured at an underground coal mine in the Hunter region.

The workers sustained serious injuries while installing pipes at the mine on 17 May 2022.

Safety inspectors were sent to the mine to investigate the incident.

The Regulator has published a number of recommendations following the incident.
