Three workers killed after firefighting plane crashes in outback Queensland

Three workers have died after their firefighting plane crashed in northwest Queensland.

The aircraft crashed while helping ground crews fighting bushfires in McKinlay on Saturday afternoon.

Staff at a nearby mine saw the plane going down and called the police.

The Australia Safety Bureau will investigate the crash.
