Ten people killed by quad bikes in 2022

According to data from Safe Work Australia, there were 10 quad-bike fatalities in 2022.

The fatalities include a 93-year-old man who was killed in a quad bike crash in far north Queensland in October.

Four of the 10 fatalities occurred in Western Australia, two in Tasmania, while the remaining four were in NSW, Queensland, Northern Territory and Victoria.

Quad bike related incidents are the leading cause of deaths and serious injuries on Australian farms. In 2021, 11 people were killed by quad bikes in Australia.
