Queenstown worker injured in truck incident

A worker suffered serious injuries in an incident involving a truck in Queenstown on Wednesday afternoon.

Police and emergency services attended the scene, with police confirming the incident was work-related.

Ambulance paramedics transported the injured worker to Lakes Hospital.

The worker was later flown to Dunedin Hospital by a rescue chopper.

WorkSafe has been notified.
