Worker fatally injured in central Queensland mine incident

A fatal incident occurred at a mine site in central Queensland, on Thursday afternoon, resulting in the death of a worker.

The employee sustained severe injuries due to an "industrial traffic incident" just after 1pm.

Upon arrival, emergency services discovered the worker had already succumbed to their injuries.

Police said Resources Safety and Health Queensland is currently looking into the incident.
