Quad bike incidents claimed 13 lives in 2023

Recent data from Safe Work Australia indicates a total of 13 Australians lost their lives due to injuries sustained while riding quad bikes in 2023.

Quad bikes continue to be the leading cause of fatal incidents and severe injuries on Australian farms.

In the preceding year of 2022, 11 Australians were fatally injured in quad bike incidents.

Since 2011, over 150 people have died in incidents involving quad bikes. The highest number of fatal incidents occurred in 2020.
