Seven Australians killed in quad bike incidents this year

Data from Safe Work Australia shows seven Australians have died in quad bike related incidents this year, with the youngest victim being a four-year old girl who was killed in a quad bike rollover in south west Queensland this month.

Three of the fatalities occurred in New South Wales, while the remaining four fatalities were in Queensland, Northern Territory, Victoria and Western Australia.

Quad bikes are a leading cause of death and injury on Australian farms. In 2022, there were 10 fatal quad bike incidents in Australia.
