Man hospitalised after rolling quad bike in south-east Queensland

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue chopper transported a man to the hospital on Thursday afternoon, following a rollover incident with the quad bike he was operating in south-east Queensland.

The rescue helicopter was sent to the Bundaberg region shortly before 11am.

The pilot and Aircrew Officer (ACO) successfully landed the helicopter in a paddock near the scene.

After receiving initial treatment at the scene, the man in his fifties was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital for additional medical care.
