Man airlifted to hospital after rolling quad bike in southern Queensland

A man is being treated for chest injuries sustained in a quad bike rollover on Sunday afternoon.

The LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter was tasked to a private property in the Toowoomba region at about 5.15pm.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics provided on-scene treatment to the man in his 50s before the rescue chopper arrived.

The rescue chopper transported the man to Toowoomba Hospital for further care.
