Essential Energy reveals 2023 Electricity Safety Week competition winners

NSW electricity distributor, Essential Energy has announced the winners of its 2023 Electricity Safety Week competition.

More than 800 students from more than 850 schools took part in the annual contest.

“It was a tough decision with so many creative and inspiring entries across the three categories - Be a Safety Star colouring-in, Be a Safety Star poster and Safety Week Superhero comic competitions,” Essential Energy said.

Electricity Safety Week promotes electrical safety and teaches kids to stay safe around electricity.
