2024 Farm safety calendar competition winners announced

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) has recently announced the winners of the 2024 Farm safety calendar competition. More than 1400 kids participated in this year’s competition.

The 12 winners include a grade 5 student from Sunnybank Hills State School, Leo Park whose artwork on animal safety will feature in the 2024 Farm safety calendar.

Minister for Industrial Relations Grace Grace said, “This competition is always a highlight on the calendar.”

“Not only does it educate young Queenslanders on the very real safety risks associated with farming, but it provides a way to spread the message of being safe at work right across the state.”

The winners will each receive $250 and another $500 for their school.
