Workplace explosion kills Gold Coast man

A man has died in hospital after an explosion at a Gold Coast business on Tuesday morning.

The man was reportedly using a grinder on a drum when it exploded.

The 21-year-old was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with serious burns.

He was in a critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
