Woman flown to hospital after falling from horse

A woman sustained facial injuries after she fell from her horse in the South Burnett Region on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened on a property in Kumbia shortly before 1pm.

A rescue chopper airlifted the injured woman to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
