VIC hay exporter charged over fatal workplace incident

A Victorian hay exporter is facing charges after a worker was killed in a workplace incident in February last year.

The 29-year-old worker was fatally injured after he was caught in a bailing machine.

WorkSafe has charged the company with two counts of failing to provide a safe workplace, contrary to the Victorian OHS Act.

The company will appear in court on 21 December 2022 to answer to the charges.
