Truck driver dies after being pinned under trailer in the Northern Territory

A man has died after being pinned beneath a trailer on a Northern Territory highway on Thursday afternoon.

Police said they were called to the incident southwest of Katherine, just before 5.20pm.

The man died at the scene.

NT WorkSafe is investigating the cause of the fatal incident.
