Three workers suffer burn injuries after car battery explodes north of Adelaide


Three workers sustained burns following a battery explosion north of Adelaide on Friday afternoon.

The workers were in the process of jump-starting a stalled vehicle in Watercloo Corner when the battery exploded.

Paramedics responded to the incident at around noon.

The workers were transported to Lyell McEwin Hospital suffering face and chest injuries.

SafeWork SA has confirmed the deployment of inspectors to conduct an investigation at the business.
