Thirty Australian workers killed in workplace incidents this year

Preliminary figures from Safe Work Australia reveal 30 Australian workers have been fatally injured at work thus far this year.
The transport postal and warehousing sector reports the highest number of fatalities, totaling 15.
Agriculture, forestry, and fishing are next with 6 work-related fatalities, while mining ranks third with 5 fatal incidents. The figures show 2 construction workers have died on the job this year.
