Teenage worker dies in hospital after fall at Brisbane construction site

A teenage worker who was seriously injured after falling at a Brisbane construction site has died in hospital.

The 17-year-old boy suffered serious head injuries following the incident on Tuesday morning.

He was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, where doctors placed him in an induced coma.

He died on Wednesday morning.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is conducting an investigation into the incident.
