Melbourne construction worker dies in hospital after fall

A worker lost his life due to head injuries sustained from a fall at a Melbourne construction site last Tuesday.

The 56-year-old man fell from an elevated platform in Doncaster East.

He sustained severe head injuries and passed away at the hospital three days after the incident.

WorkSafe has initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fatal incident.
