Teenage boy dies after quad bike crash in Tasmania

A 16-year-old boy has been killed in a quad bike crash in Tasmania's northwest coast.

Family members called police after the boy failed to return home on Wednesday afternoon.

The boy was found dead down an embankment at Wynyard on Thursday morning.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
