Regulator opens probe following severe injury sustained from vehicle at NSW mine

The NSW Resources Regulator has initiated a probe into a significant incident involving a worker and a vehicle at a central west New South Wales gold mine on 10 July 2024.

A service crew member was critically injured when a bucket from a loader in motion collided with him as he walked down a slope.

The worker was inspecting the water level and lift pump to enable a loader to remove bog mud from the sump area.
