NSW Resources regulator opens public consultation on Vehicle Interaction Discussion Paper

The NSW Resources Regulator seeks stakeholder input to help improve safety in the State’s mining industry.

The regulator has released its Vehicle Interaction Discussion Paper and wants to hear your suggestions on the steps the regulator can take to protect mine workers involved in vehicle interactions.

Peter Day, Executive Director for the NSW Resources Regulator, said, "We value the input and expertise of the wider community, industry participants, and workers in helping us create safer environments for everyone in the resources sector. We encourage all stakeholders to actively engage in this consultation process and contribute their suggestions and ideas."

Submissions close on Friday 8 September 2023.
