Pilot of light plane dies in Western Australia crash

A pilot died on Saturday morning after crashing his light aircraft in Western Australia’s Wheatbelt region.

Police said the incident happened at Beverley at about 11am.

The pilot, a man aged in his 60s, was the sole occupant of the plane and he died in the crash.

Recreational Aviation Australia is aware of the crash.
