NSW Resources Regulator releases new fact sheet on workplace bullying and harassment

The NSW Resources Regulator has developed a fact sheet about bullying and harassment in the workplace.

Workplace bullying is repeated, unwelcome behaviour directed towards an employee. Workplace bullying is unlawful under the WHS Act 2011, and is considered a risk to health and safety.

The Resources Regulator said, “The fact sheet is to assist mine operators and workers to understand their duties and responsibilities in relation to workplace bullying and inappropriate conduct.”
