New Zealand worker killed in conveyor belt incident

A New Zealand worker has been killed in an incident involving a conveyor belt on Thursday morning.

The incident happened at a fertiliser factory in Mount Maunganui.

Police and emergency crews were scrambled to the scene shortly before noon.

The worker died at the scene, according to police.
