National fatal occupational injuries data updated

Recent Safe Work Australia data shows 121 fatal work-related incidents have so far been recorded in Australia this year.

The transport, postal and warehousing industry accounts for the highest number of deaths, with 39 fatalities.

The statistics show the Construction industry has so far lost 28 workers, while the agriculture, forestry, fishing industry has witnessed 15 fatal occupational incidents.
