Fatal work injuries data updated

Fatal occupational injury data released by Safe Work Australia shows that 109 Australian workers have been killed at work this year.

The latest report indicates that the Transport, postal & warehousing industry has so far seen more workplace deaths than any other industry. The industry has recorded 44 fatalities- 14 more than at the same time last year. Agriculture, forestry & fishing has seen 22 fatalities, and the Construction industry has 13 fatalities.
