Man rescued after being trapped under grain silo in Queensland

A man sustained severe leg injuries after becoming trapped under a silo by grain in central Queensland.

The incident happened in Arcturus on Wednesday morning.

Ambulance paramedics and a rescue helicopter responded to the scene just after 9am.

Queensland Ambulance said the man's legs were trapped in the grain, prompting immediate action from the paramedics to free him.

Once successfully extricated, he was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
