Man hospitalised after falling from horse in the Somerset region

A man was flown to hospital after falling from a horse in South East Queensland.

The LifeFlight helicopter was called to the incident shortly before 10am on Sunday morning.

The man, aged in his sixties, incurred injuries to his pelvis and leg following a fall from the horse, which then fell on top of him.

Paramedics attended to the man on-site before he was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable state for further medical treatment.
