Man crushed by water tank in regional Victoria

WorkSafe Victoria is investigating an incident in which a man died after being crushed by a 600-kilogram water tank at a Barwon Downs property last week.

The safety watchdog said the 79-year-old was helping unload the 31,700-litre tank off a truck when it fell on him.

The incident happened on Thursday morning.

WorkSafe Victoria figures show 61 workers have been killed at work this year.
