Farmer fatally shocked while repairing garage door in Canterbury

A Canterbury farmer has lost his life as a result of electrocution while working on a garage door.

Emergency crews were summoned to a farm in Ashburton Forks at approximately 5:25pm on Monday following the incident.

The incident has been reported to WorkSafe.
