WorkSafe WA accepting entries for 2022 Work Health and Safety Excellence Awards

WorkSafe WA is currently accepting entries for the 2022 Work Health and Safety Excellence Awards, with nominations open to individuals, associations, partnerships, companies and other organisations operating across Western Australia.

What's New for the 2022 Awards?

The WA Government has created a new Work Health and Safety Excellence Award category, "Best Intervention to Address a Psychosocial Hazard in the Workplace," aimed at addressing workplace mental health concerns.

"This new award will recognise an organisation's commitment to the prevention of psychosocial hazards in the workplace," WorkSafe WA said.

This category replaces the former "Best Workplace Health and Wellbeing Initiative" award, reflecting a sharper focus on psychosocial risk management within business operations.
