WorkSafe launches investigations after worker dies at Melbourne recycling centre

WorkSafe has officially announced that they are conducting an investigation into the unfortunate death a 26-year-old worker at a recycling centre in Broadmeadows that occurred on Friday.

According to WorkSafe, the man passed away after being hit by a front-end loader while it was transporting recycled goods at around 9:45am.

WorkSafe figures show 24 Victorian workers have been killed at work this year.
