Worker treated for smoke inhalation after Napier blaze

A worker was treated in hospital for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a Napier business on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services responded to reports of a fire at the pallet company shortly before 1.30pm.

Paramedics took a man in his 40s to Hawke’s Bay Hospital after the incident.

He was treated and later released from hospital.
