Worker sustains critical injuries after being struck by forklift in Manly

A Brisbane worker was injured in a forklift incident on Friday morning.

The man, reportedly in his 40s, was working in Manly when a forklift struck him shortly after 7 a.m.

The scene was quickly attended by paramedics, who rendered assistance to the man suffering from serious injuries to both his leg and pelvis.

He was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

WorkSafe Queensland is aware of the incident.
