Worker sustains burn injuries at central Queensland power station

A man has been injured in a work-related incident at a power plant in central Queensland.

The contractor sustained foot burns while working in a boilerhouse at the power station in Mount Murchison on Friday evening.

He was brought to the hospital for medical treatment.

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland will investigate the incident.
