Worker killed in Queensland mine incident


A mine worker has been killed in an incident involving a ’pick and carry crane’ in central Queensland.

The incident occurred at a coal mine in the Bowen Basin.

Paramedics arrived at the mine on Saturday morning to attend to a man who had sustained critical injuries.

Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is investigating the incident.
