Worker hospitalised after setting himself alight south east of Adelaide

A worker has been urgently transported to hospital after reportedly setting himself ablaze southeast of Adelaide.

Emergency services were sent to Monarto South on Tuesday afternoon.

The 51-year-old man is currently receiving medical care at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where his condition is reported as serious but stable.

SafeWork SA has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
