Worker freed and airlifted to hospital after being pinned under heavy ladder in southern Queensland

Queensland ambulance paramedics treated a man who sustained injuries after being pinned underneath a heavy ladder on Thursday morning.

The man was loading a truck when he became trapped under a 500kg ladder.

He was rescued by witnesses.

The LifeFlight rescue helicopter was called to the incident north of Goondiwindi at about 11am.

The man in his 30s was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
