Worker fatally injured, another hurt in Auckland job site incident

One worker died, while another suffered severe injuries due to an incident that took place at a workplace in Auckland.

Emergency services arrived at Mt Wellington at approximately 1:45pm on Thursday.

A total of three ambulances and two rapid response units were deployed to the scene.

Ambulance paramedics reported that they attended to one patient in critical condition at the location, who was then transported to Auckland Hospital.

WorkSafe has been notified of the incident.
