Worker dies while working at WA gold mine

A mine worker has died while working underground in Western Australia.

Reports indicated the man in his 30s died after suffering a medical emergency at an underground gold mine, south of Laverton on Tuesday morning.

Operations at the mine site were temporarily suspended following the incident.

Investigations into the cause of the incident are continuing.
