Worker dies in hospital after falling from roof at Melbourne school

Victoria has recorded the sixth workplace fatality for 2023 following the death of a school maintenance worker in Melbourne last week.

WorkSafe said the 67-year-old man suffered injuries after falling from a roof on Thursday afternoon.

He died in hospital the following day.

WorkSafe is investigating the incident.
